Singing Duo

LIFE ON MARES
Friday night party sponsored by Mares. Girl band Eden will be first up followed by the People’s String Foundation

 

Hub

SUPER SATURDAY
Curry meal included in the price of your ticket followed by stacks of entertainment, including street dance act Flava from Britain’s Got Talent, a bonfire on the beach and fire dance act Poi Passion. Topping off the entertainment is our headline act 4 Tons of Funk. Soul singer Paul McGahan will be performing in the clubhouse.

Carribean

SUNDAY IN THE CARIBBEAN
Join us at a Caribbean party hosted by the Cayman Islands. Tickets to this event cost an additional £5 per person and include entry to see the film Cayman Went, a rum tasting, a Caribbean meal and a reggae band. The band’s second set will be open to everyone. Tickets to this event are limited to 350 people and can be bought upon arrival at Dive Fest

Try Dive

DIVE DIVE DIVE
Hardboat (from Mevagissey) and RIB diving will be available all day and BSAC will be offering try-dives and snorkelling sessions in the pool.

BRITISH UNDERWATER IMAGE FESTIVAL
The British Underwater Image Festival sponsored by Cameras Underwater is the UK’s premiere underwater stills and video competition. See the best of the images and come to the prizegiving ceremony on Sunday.

SPLASH IN
If you’re inspired by the images at BUIF, give it a go yourself in Saturday’s on-the-day photography Splash In competition sponsored by Cameras Underwater.

Pirates

PIRATES ON SHOW
Last year lots of Dive Fest attendees came in pirate fancy dress, this year they could win a prize as we have a Pirates of the Caribbean fancy dress theme. Prize to be announced. Tying in nicely with our theme is the appearance of the Pirates of St Piran who will be on hand to entertain us with sea shanties and sword-fighting demonstrations.

Treasure hunt

TREASURE HUNT
Keep an eye out for the Dive Fest treasure that has been placed on local dive sites. Bring an item of treasure back to the DIVE magazine stand and redeem it for prizes. A list of prizes will soon follow.

DANCE GROUP
If you’ve always fancied yourself as a bit of a dancer, or your kids would like a go, join Britain’s Got Talent semi finalist dance troupe Flava in a dance workshop and watch the group perform on Saturday night

Join former Para Andy Torbet as he scours the beach for fuel, food and warmth – book a slot with Andy at the DIVE stand.
